West Rock Tennis Academy has pushed high ranked juniors, in the Eastern Section as well Nationally Ranked, to reach their full potential by challenging them on a daily basis.

Our coaches collectively have over a 100 year of high performance coaching experience, coaching on the ATP/WTA Tour, NCAA Head coaching, multiple National Champions and international competitive experience.
Erik played national division and started coaching in 1998. After obtaining his degree in Physical Education in 1999, in 2000 he became National Coach of the Italian Tennis Federation and in 2007 obtained the qualification of European Coach with a two-year specializing course in tennis coaching. He is a Professional PTR Performance Coach, GPTCA LEVEL B International Coach and a certified Tennis Fitness coach and throughout the years has worked with Tennis Europe, ITF and WTA players.
Guy Gebbia combines an intense work ethic with principles of team building and a focus on meeting objectives. Born and raised in Nyack, NY, Guy was a three time Rockland County Men's Singles Champion. He was the number one singles and doubles player for Fordham University, where he was the recipient of the Vincent T. Lombardi award, which honors the school's most outstanding male athlete of the year.
Martina comes to West Rock with a strong playing background and is a PTR certified professional. Completed as a junior as well as playing Division 1 tennis at the University of Toledo. Martina has teaching experience from Early Junior Development to High performance.
As a player, Clint was a multi-year letter winner at Clemson University for Coach Chuck Kriese. During his time there, the Tigers were ranked as high as 5th in the country. Clint comes to west rock from center court tennis academy where he has worked with the full-time performance program.
Rafayel comes from a family where everyone plays and teaches tennis. He was born and raised in Armenia. Rafayel who goes by the nickname “Rafa” was trained tennis by his uncles and cousins who had represented Armenia in “Davis Cup” and “Fed Cup.” Rafa has extensive experience as a competitive player in Armenia. He was ranked number 1 in Armenia under the age of 16. As he moved to the United States he played first singles at “John Jay College of Criminal Justice.” After his junior career he has coached at various clubs in the United States, most notably at the Fort Lee Racquet Club and Montammy Golf Club. Rafa has a multitude of experience allowing him to teach juniors and adults of all levels.
